Each week we put someone in the hot seat and ask them ten questions about themselves. This week we spoke with Josh Franceschi, lead singer of British band You Me At Six who will be headlining Sundown Festival 2017.

• Describe Norwich in three words..

Far from London.

• If you were stranded on a desert island with three people, who would you want them to be?

My fiancé, mum and dad (they come as a pair so only count as one) and my sister.

• If you could be anyone else, who would you be?

I think I'd like to be a professional footballer, someone like Lionel Messi, to get a taste of that life.

• How would you spend a perfect weekend?

A perfect weekend for me would involve being around my family, my friends and my dog and just keeping things very basic. Nothing too complicated, seeing everyone happy and healthy is all I need.

• What's your mantra in life?

It's ok. Whenever I get worried about something or I get flustered about something I really can't change, I just say to myself 'It's ok'. That and treat others the way you would want to be treated, I feel like that's an important one that I've tried hard in my life to do.

• Would you rather spend a night in front of the telly or a night out in the city?

If the telly is good then a night in, because I spend all of my time out in cities anyway, so to be at home is what I enjoy.

• Which song defines your life?

Probably our own song, Underdog, because we always have been and certainly when we wrote that song we were underdogs, fighting and scrapping to find our place in music and the world and even now the message of that song still feels relevant to me every time I sing it. I never feel contrived or out of place singing that song.

• What's your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is dying and not feeling like I made the most of what I have with my life and the people around me. Feeling like there is stuff I could have done better. I try not to look back and try not to have regrets because that's not helpful. I just don't want the people around me to think I didn't do enough for them, like I didn't enhance their lives.

• What could you never be without?

Oxygen, food, music and love.

• What would you do if you won the lottery?

The first thing I'd do is call up my parents, my in-laws and a group of very close friends and ask them what they want and then after that I'd do all the things me and my partner talk about wanting to do, whether it be selfish stuff or awesome stuff like putting money into the environment and building a conservation. There's all these things I want to do, but realistically I don't have time to do them it will probably be after You Me At Six that I have a chance to do that. I keep waiting for You Me At Six to be over but people keep buying the albums and coming to see us live and it's so difficult to walk away from that.
