Whilst the cadets are learning on smaller motorcycles, in the other classes the racing was quite frantic, with some real wheel-to-wheel paint-swapping action.

One rider who had a good day was 17-year-old Jake Mulford, from Norwich – including his heats he had six races in the Inters class and won them all on his 250cc Jawa – Mulford has not dropped a point this season and remains unbeaten.

In the Juniors, 12-year-old Daniel Clark from Guernsey ensured the long trip was worthwhile with five wins and a second. Kelsie Buck, 12, was busy taking it to the boys in this class as well, while Oakley Bowman won the GT140 class, with Max Derrick in second place and Kara G in third. The Auto Cadets was won by George Colvin and the Cadets by Alfie Atto.
