Daniel Farke confirmed Tettey will be part of the squad who travel to Elland Road, but Husband will not be risked after just returning to training in recent days following a groin injury.

Farke has also resisted the temptation to bring Jamal Lewis into the squad, with the fit-again full back poised for another development outing next Monday following a long layoff with a knee injury.

'James is back training but only for two days. There is no pressure to bring him back right now,' said Farke. 'He would be available but we decided he won't travel. Alex Tettey will travel with us. Tom (Trybull) is back now, Harrison Reed has been very good in recent games and Mario Vrancic has improved a lot – he was our best player against Cardiff. Mario was struggling at the start of the week with some sickness but he was back at training on Thursday. 'We have lots of options now (in our midfield) and it's a good problem to have.

'The usual stuff. A few hits. Ivo Pinto had some pain in his hamstring but he has trained the last two days.

'Jamal has been back for three weeks now. He's very close to being in our squad but we don't need to change the squad too much after last week's win.

'He will probably play one more game for the Under-23s on Monday but that depends what happens in our game. Jamal is in a good place and I'm happy to have him back.'

Steven Naismith was another to make his return in a 60-minute development appearance last weekend. The Scottish international has not featured in the first team since August with an ankle problem but is an option for the festive period.

'He could be available for Christmas but it's too soon for Saturday,' said Farke. 'He's trained with us this week but we aren't under pressure to change the squad after the last game. It's good to have him back in the team training.'

Matt Jarvis, Remi Matthews and Louis Thompson remain longer absentees with Farke delivering a fresh update on Thompson.

'We're looking at a return around the end of March, beginning of April but we have to be really careful with him,' he said. 'It will be hard for him when he returns. This is a second rupture of his Achilles. We may have to count of him for next season because we have to be very careful.'
