All three judges turned their chairs for 11-year-old Jack Goodacre from Eccles, near Attleborough, following his rendition of Free Fallin' by John Mayer.

And not only did Jack sail through to the next stage of the competition, he also got to rock out with show judge Danny Jones after mentioning that he was a big fan of McFly, Guns N' Roses and AC/DC after his audition.

'Are you going to show me up?' the McFly star asked his mini me.

'Probably!' Jack hit back.

The pair performed Sweet Child Of Mine by Guns 'N' Roses together and afterwards Jack chose Danny to be his coach going forward on the show.

'I could not be happier because I've got this little dude, who's like a mini me,' the McFly guitarist told the cameras.

Explaining how he got into singing at the age of eight, Perry said: 'When my granddad passed away I thought, 'How can I raise money for the cancer charity'.

'I didn't realise I was any good at it and but then all of a sudden I realised I just love it and it went from there, really.'

He went on to explain that he had so far raised a cool £30,000 for charity.

When will.i.am asked who he looks up to in the music industry following his successful audition, Perry joked: 'I quite like Justin Bieber, but up at the top is will.i.am, I don't know if you know him?'

The Voice Kids UK returns next week at 7.30pm on ITV.
