A young mother who lost her first child after going into premature labour is raising money to thank the children's hospice that has supported her ever since.

Tina Hall, 28, from Taverham, lost daughter Ella Watson in April 2012. The child survived for just two hours. She has since had another child, Mia, who is one.

She said: 'I was put in touch with Each – East Anglia's Children's Hospices – by the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

'Each provided me and Ella's dad, Matt, with tremendous support with bereavement counselling, helped us organise the funeral and continue to support us to this day.

'The efforts Each put in has made such a difference so I felt it's time to give something back. I have decided to starting doing fundraising for Each.'

Ms Hall, who is a receptionist at St Crispin's House in Norwich, organised an event last week where Sparhawk Infant and Nursery school in Sprowston donated toys to Each.

She said: 'People are aware that I'm fundraising for Each, and a lady from the school contacted me, to see if I could help her with a donation of toys to the charity.'

A school spokesman said: 'All the parents sent toys into school for a toy sale and then those left over were passed to the hospice.'

Ms Hall is also arranging a car boot sale at Hellesdon High School on July 19 where all proceedings will again go to the charity.

She is also doing a sky dive at Beccles Airfield on her 29th birthday, September 13, in aid of Each and in memory of her daughter.

She added: 'I initially targeted raising £300 for Each but I've raised that and more. Ella's dad, Matt, is also helping with the fundraising.'
