A Norwich Scout Group has received a funding boost from a local supermarket.
The 44th Norwich Beavers Scout Group in Old Catton has received £200 from the Sainsbury's Local Heros scheme.
The scheme is offered to staff as a way of encouraging them to do volunteer work in the community.
Teresa Cresswell works on the grocery online team at Sainsbury's on Pound Lane. She applied for the scheme as she volunteers as a Beaver Leader within the Scout group.
Ms Cresswell said: 'The 44th Norwich Scout Group would like to say a big thank you to Sainsbury's Pound Lane for the donation they have given us.'
The money raised is to be put towards a climbing wall that will be built at the Scout hut which will be used by the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts which attend the hut.
