Two fundraisers who have raised thousands of pounds for the Norfolk Renal Fund have been honoured for their efforts over the years.

Maggie Edwards, from Norwich, whose son Tim was a transplant patient as a teenager, has raised £4,000 for the fund from plant sales.

Wynn Tutt has also raised hundreds of pounds collecting scrap metal and other recyclable items.

They were presented with an award by Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital consultant in renal and general medicine Dr Mark Andrews. He said: 'I would like to thank Wynn and Maggie and their family and friends for their hard work in raising so much money for the Norfolk Renal Fund.

'Donations such as this really help support the work we do.'

The Norfolk Renal Fund (1045119) is an independent charity which supports the renal units at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, James Paget Hospital and Cromer Hospital.
