A fallen tree has been causing delays on a major road link towards Norwich.

The tree, which was blocking the northbound carriageway of the A140 Ipswich Road between Long Stratton and Tivetshall St Mary, was one of many which came down overnight as Storm Aileen brought gusts of up to 60mph to the region.

At 7.40am traffic was banking up in the northbound lane, with southbound drivers also stopping to let vehicles by.

The Met Office has warned commuters to expect longer travel times on both road and rail due to the high winds.
