New concept bar Alchemista Coffee Potions has applied to the city council for an alcohol license as it looks sets to sprinkle magic on the Norwich Lanes when it opens this September.
The bar, which will open on 4 St Gregory's Alley, has applied for an alcohol license during its opening hours which are 8am-8pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
The new business is described on their Facebook page as 'the first of its kind in Europe. A steam punk themed, Asian coffee fuelled, disruptor in the coffee world.'
The proposed layout includes a coffee service bar and indoor and outdoor seating for 16 people on the ground floor and seating for 26 on the first floor.
Norwich already boasts cocktail potions bar Mr Postles' Apothecary located on Upper King Street.
Any comments on the application should be made to Norwich City Council by Tuesday, September 5.
