The remnants of Hurricane Ophelia have brought summer temperatures to the region.
Large areas of Ireland, Wales and Scotland have been pummelled by gale force winds and torrential downpour as the aftermath of Hurricane Ophelia hits the British Isles, however, the weather system has brought unusually warm weather to East Anglia.
Norwich enjoyed highs today of 23º - way over the seasonal average of 15º- as warm southerlies boosted temperatures across the region. But the summery weather is not expected to continue, with temperatures forecast to return to the mid-teens tomorrow.
Ophelia's arrival coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Great Storm of 1987 which claimed 18 lives.
