A motorist who has been driving without insurance since last year has had his car seized.
The driver, a man in his 50s, was stopped by a motorcyclist from Norfolk's Road Casualty Reduction Team (RCRT) on the A140 at about 7.15pm on Sunday (January 14).
Following the stop the team tweeted: '#RCRT stop on #A140 tonight. Driver had no insurance since last year. #Sec165 #TOR #845.'
PC Mark Carter, from the team, said: 'The driver was stopped while transporting his daughter back to Norwich.
'The driver was reported for the offence of no insurance, with the vehicle being seized.'
PC Carter said the driver openly admitted he had stopped paying his monthly insurance payments.
Earlier in the day officers from Norfolk and Suffolk's Roads Policing Team seized an uninsured vehicle in Neatishead while on patrol.
