A fundraising site has been set up to raise money for the funeral of Kerri McAuley who was found dead in Southalls Way last night.
The JustGiving page is aiming to raise £5,000 to cover the costs of the funeral and headstone and more than £9,000 £ has already been raised.
It was set up by Kendall Jarrett and Laura A'dore who posted a message alongside it. It reads: 'Kerri was well known in Norwich as a kind hearted, soft spoken crazy chick!
'She had a huge friend circle and loved by so many including her 2 young boys. She was cruelly murdered in her family home, and we want to take some of the stress away from the family with raising some money for her funeral costs and help with her two sons who luckily have a father who will be taking them on full time.
'We love you Kerri, rest in paradise xXx'
Officers were called to Southalls Way at 10.40pm, following reports a woman in her 20s had died.
After initial enquiries detectives launched a murder investigation. A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of the murder and is currently being held in custody awaiting questioning.
The murder scene has been cordoned off with officers standing guard as forensic teams carry out their enquiries.
