Thousands of fundraisers faced rain, mud and the spring sunshine to do their bit for charity in the Race for Life.
Runners from across Norfolk and Suffolk donned pink for the Cancer Research UK fundraisers on Saturday and Sunday.

Drizzle and clouds were the backdrop for the 5km and 10km Pretty Muddy courses on Saturday, while the cloud broke and the sun appeared for Sunday's traditional events.

When asked who they were running in memory of, many groups gave the same answer: 'Too many.'

A group of 12 colleagues from Elmham Surgery, in North Elmham, took part in Saturday's muddy course, including Amanda Hillery.

'My mum in law fought cancer seven times, and it was eighth that beat her,' she said. 'I've lost my step brother, two very close family friends - too many people.'

Sarah Lucas, from Wymondham, lost her sister Holly to cancer six years ago. She has run the Race for Life ever since.

'It's a nice thing to be able to do - to know you're contributing in some way,' she said. 'It's been hard for our family, and we've lost other people.
