Solicitors at a Norwich law firm have put their professional skills to use for charity, raising more than £4,000.

Simper Law took part in the annual Will Aid campaign, which saw its solicitors write wills for clients in exchange for a donation.

The firm raised £4,285 in the month-long fundraiser, making it the third most successful new participant in 2017.

Now in its 29th year, Will Aid raises money for nine charities including British Red Cross, Save the Children and Age UK.

Kim Simper, solicitor at the firm, said: 'Our team has really enjoyed participating in Will Aid and have worked very hard. They are thrilled to have done so well that they made the top 10 in our first year. We are also delighted to have raised such a lot of money for such a worthwhile cause.

'Taking part in Will Aid has enabled us to give back to both our community and nine great charities.'
