With workplace mental health rising up the corporate agenda, an HR company is aiming to help businesses to support their employees.
Prosper HR Services has launched Prosper Wellbeing which will be led by former Norwich and Norfolk Mind deputy chief executive Sandra Flanagan.
She said: 'We have launched this service as we know employees feel there is inadequate support but it can be confusing and uncertain for employers to know what to do or say. Our aim is for there to be a positive, open work culture where people feel more empowered to talk about stress and mental health issues – ultimately helping businesses to reduce sickness absence.'
The firm, which is based in Barnham Broom, near Dereham, will be holding workshops for employers which cover legal responsibilities, how to recognise and support those who are stressed and how to create a positive work culture.
