The new mayor of Great Yarmouth has been announced.
Councillor Paula Waters-Bunn has been elected to the ceremonial role following a vote by her fellow councillors.
She was born and raised in the town, and elected as a borough councillor in 2016 representing the Southtown and Cobholm ward.
She was inspired to stand for election after attending council meetings as a member of the public.

Outside of the council, Ms Waters-Bunn works for Barrett Steel Limited as the health and safety officer at Yarmouth Steel Services.
As mayor, she will chair full council meetings and help to raise money for her chosen charities, Great Yarmouth Stroke Group, Age Connected and Shrubland Football Club.
She said: "The care and support the Great Yarmouth Stroke Group and Age Connected provide for people is extremely valuable and, as a grassroots sports club, Shrubland Football Club is a beacon in the local community that I am proud to be able to support."
At a council meeting on Tuesday evening, May 14, Councillor Carl Annison – who represents Bradwell South and Hopton Ward – was elected as deputy mayor.
