Picture Gallery: A look round the 500-year old church of St John Maddermarket in Norwich

The church of St John the Baptist, Maddermarket, is a now redundant Anglican Church situated in the heart of The Lanes in Norwich.

The National Heritage listed Grade 1 building is now cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust and their team of volunteers.

The huge oak canopy which sits below the east window was installed in 1917 by the then vicar, the Rev William Busby.
