The tough and emotional impact on young people who come into contact with the criminal justice system is explored in gritty new play coming to Norwich.

Members of Norwich Theatre Royal’s Youth Company are set to present the show [BLANK] which aims to explore how both children and adults are impacted by the criminal justice system.

Cast member Amelia Stephanides said it will work in a different way to the usual structure of a play.

She said: “There isn’t actually a narrative to [BLANK] itself. It focuses on young people, the presence of the wrong type of adult or the absence of the right type of adult. Each scene is completely separate and should be treated like that when watching.”

The show is part of the National Theatre’s Connections 2018 project.

[BLANK] is at Norwich Theatre Royal’s Stage Two venue from March 1 to 3 at 7.30pm each night. Tickets £10 (concessions £8.50). To book, visit www.theatreroyalnorwich.co.uk or call 01603 630000.
