Performance

-Diss Mere Pavlion, Park Road: Diss Family Day. With gravity-defying acrobatics and awesome dance routines from the Lords of Strut, Ramshacklicious’ physical theatre and Wet Picnic’s wonderful world of characters, 3pm-8pm, free.

Spiegeltent in Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich: Kunst Rock. The prince and princess of Berlin’s underground indie rock and Europop scene with hilarious award-winning songs. 7.30pm, £16.

UEA Sportspark: Opus No 7. Moving and majestic theatre experience from Russian director Dmitry Krymov, depicting the oppresion of Soviet Jews and the censorship of Shostakovich under Stalin. Featuring larger-than-life puppets, duelling pianos, living walls and a blizzard of newsprint, 7.30pm, £18.

Octagon Unitarian Chapel, Colegate: In Memoriam Sir John Tavener (Norfolk & Norwich Festival). Commemoration of one of Britain’s most highly regarded composers. 8pm,

Spiegeltent in Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich: The Bo Nanfana Social Club. New Orleans-style jump steady jazz starring The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band. 10pm, £16.

Norwich Arts Centre: Live Art Club. The Falsettos by Stacy Makishi . Reflections on murder, morality and midlife crisis, 10.30pm, £7, concession £5.

Other - A group of people squeeze into mysterious spaces around the centre, 11.30pm-1.30pm, pay what you can.

Exhibitions

The Gallery at NUA, St George’s Street, Norwich: Within. Film work by Tim Davies using the human body to explore aspects of architecture, noon-5pm, free. To May 24.

Upper Cathedral Close, Norwich: Stephen Brandes - The Last Travelogue of Albert Sitzfleisch. Billboard trail reporting time travel, all day, free. To May 25.

The Undercroft, below the war memorial, Norwich Market: Tipping Point. Kathy Hinde’s kinetic sound sculpture, noon-6pm, free. To May 18.
