Rackheath concert to be held as part of Bandstand Marathon

Local musicians will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a closing event for the London 2012 Olympics in Rackheath in September.

On Sunday, September 9, a concert will be hosted in the pavilion in Rackheath’s Jubilee Park, in Green Lane West, as part of a national series of concerts.

The Bandstand Marathon, which will see 500 events held around the country on the same day, is being organised for the village by Rackheath Youth Council and is being supported by Broadland District Council.
