Thousands of people got into the festival atmosphere at the Norfolk Showground yesterday afternoon, on the first day of the Sundown Festival.

The crowds at Sundown, formerly Norfolk Spectacular, were anticipating X-Factor star Olly Murs to take centre stage tonight, following the likes of Katy B, Pixie Lott, Wiley, Diana Vickers and Stooshe.
Organisers say they have already sold many more tickets than last year but there are some still available – with some day tickets available for £35 on the gate.
Star DJs Chase & Status top the bill on the main stage today, following acts such as rapper Labrinth, Radio One rock DJ Zane Lowe and Ms Dynamite.
People attending the festival will be able to use the First X1 bus service to get directly to the showground. The X1 will be running every 10 minutes, with the last bus leaving the showground at 11.55pm on Saturday and Sunday.

This year was a rip off removing food and drink in sealed plastic bottles from childrens bags before entry then forcincing them to go 11 hours without or being charging £5 for food and drinks! Ripped off! Won't go again next year.

If anyone looks at this and thinks they would like to go next year. Do not waste your time or money. I went last year and it was brilliant, this year it was a whole different story. The security wasnt even worth having. It says no glass, so security ask got any glass, people will obviously say no, and in they go no checking. The programs hadnt even been updated for one act who i ended up missing as on the website it showed his name later on in the line up. There are so many other things wrong with this that i have contacted them and I will keep contacting them until I get some answers!
