While Latitude may attract global superstars, there’s also a healthy smattering of local acts performing. Here are five worth a look.
1. Daisy Victoria
Bluesy guitar and a voice which evokes Kate Bush, Anna Calvi and PJ Harvey in varying amounts are Daisy Victoria’s calling card. She’s played the festival last year and her debut EP, Heart Full of Beef, is out now.
2. These Ghosts
Ambient rock trio These Ghosts, from Norwich, will be playing The Alcove on Sunday.
3. Luke Wright
The UEA graduate poet will be sharing his work on the Poetry stage on Saturday.
4. Tim Clare
The self-styled stand-up poet, author and ukulele player will be performing on the Poetry stage on Sunday.
5. Andy Bennett
Poet and performer Andy Bennett has been performing stand up poetry around East Anglia for half a decade. He’s playing the Poetry stage on Friday and Sunday.
Local artists can also be found on the Access To Music Stage in the Inbetweeners Area this year. The line-up includes: Box of Light; River Lyons; Aprochomatics; Ewen Mazzei; Jos Brunwin; Teddy Quick; Alison Mackinnon; Jodie Richardson; Banjax; Abi Blake; Natalie Lake; Joe Osbourne; Jack Evison; Danielle Homer; Fransecsa Davey and Lets Eat Grandma.
