Comedian Hal Cruttenden brings his latest show to several East Anglian theatres this year.

Called Chubster - that’s what he gets for asking his teenage daughters what title best summed him up - he’s back on the 5:2 diet and on the road.

The show touches on his usual moans about being a middle-aged, middle class father of fat-shaming teenagers and his struggles with IQ tests, political zealots and the trauma of supporting the England rugby team.

Hal says: “I can’t wait to get back on the road. I’m not actually that sociable naturally, but I love chatting to my comedy fans because we’ve immediately got something in common. We both love me.”

He’s at The Junction, Cambridge, September 21; Colchester Arts Centre, October 12; King’s Lynn Corn Exchange, October 13; The Apex, Bury St Edmunds, October 18; Norwich Playhouse, November 30 and The Palace, Southend, December 6.
