King of comedy Jim Davidson is returning to Great Yarmouth to lift the lid on his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house when he brings his national touring show to the resort.
The former Big Break and Generation Game host kicks off his 54-date No Further Action tour at the Britannia Pier Theatre.
The show will see Jim tell the story of his arrest on suspicion of historic sex offences last year and the nightmare 12 months that followed, the clearing of his name and how he won the heart of the nation as a Big Brother champion.
And fans can look forward to him telling the stories from inside the BB famous house that weren’t shown on TV.
The comic, who used to run Yarmouth’s Wellington Pier, admitted it had been a “rotten” year but said the best way to deal with a nightmare was to talk about it.
“I think you move on just because it’s a new day, a different day,” he added. “I tend not to dwell on things or feel sorry for myself.
“It was a rotten year, it’s done, and I just think people are interested in hearing it and hearing the funny side to it.”
But before he kicks off his national tour – which is also visiting Potter’s Leisure Resort in Hopton and the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft - the popular comic will be bringing his latest stand up show to the east coast.

Jim Davidson Live! comes to the Britannia Pier Theatre in July, where locals and holidaymakers can enjoy a summer season show – different to his touring production that swings into town in September.
Jim, who is also a keen supporter of Caister’s independent lifeboat, said: “The summer season show is just having a drink with everyone at the bar and then going on.”
The stage and screen star said he never expected to win Big Brother but the public’s overwhelming vote for him to be crowned champion had been the most flattering experience after such a tough year.
He said: “It was the people that helped me through all this being arrested, and the people didn’t believe it and they showed that by voting for me.”

Jim said he was looking forward to coming back to Yarmouth – his “favourite place on earth” - and promised his army of east coast fans a “real, good laugh” with plenty of Norfolk-flavoured humour.
“Because I know so much about Yarmouth, it’s like a second home to me, I can talk about things that people in Yarmouth understand,” he added.
But he admitted it was frustrating for him to come back to the coast and see venues, such as the Winter Gardens, and shops boarded up and thought more young people should be encouraged into the resort.
He said: “We can’t just have poor people coming to Yarmouth because it’s cheap. We want people to come to Yarmouth because it’s great.
“Let people enjoy themselves, invite the scooters, invite the bikers, invite everybody to have a good time.
“There’s so much around Great Yarmouth it’s wonderful, the Broads, the north of Norfolk, and Yarmouth should be the place where it all happens.”
