And now Simon Scarrow will be talking to his many fans in an exclusive Q&A session on Monday to celebrate the Roman Empire: Power & People exhibition currently running at Norwich Castle.

Simon wrote his first Cato and Marco novel, Under the Eagle, in 2000 and has has since added another 11 titles to his hugely-popular series. The latest is The Blood Crows, published last year.

Our website www.edp24.co.uk will be hosting a question and answer session with Simon from 1pm on Monday. It’s your chance to find out more about what inspires this top-ten bestselling author.

Simon’s passion for writing began at an early age. After a childhood spent travelling the world he started work on his first novel after university and was able to pursue his great love of history by becoming a teacher, until he became a full-time writer in 2005.

As well as his hugely-popular ‘Eagle’ series, Simon is three books into a Roman series for Young Adults, ‘Gladiator’. He has also written the book Sword and Scimitar about the epic siege of Malta in 1565.

So don’t miss this great chance to chat with the author. Email your questions to cat.evans@archant.co.uk by Monday, or check out the Roman Empire exhibition page at www.edp24.co.uk and submit your question there.

And don’t forget to check out www.edp24.co.uk/simon-scarrow-qa from 1pm this Monday.
