The author of the bestselling CHERUB series stopped off at the book department of Jarrolds, in London Street, to sign copies of his latest book; Henderson’s Boys: One Shot Kill.

The book - the 39-year-old’s 20th book, which was released on Saturday - is the sixth adventure in the Henderson’s Boys series.

The book is based in 1943 and precludes the CHERUB series, following British secret agent Charles Henderson during World War Two - which leads to the creation of Charles Henderson’s espionage research unit B (CHERUB).

The books have led to Londoner Mr Muchamore winning awards such as the Red House Children’s Book Award for Older Readers in 2005 and the Independent Booksellers’ Prize 2008.
