  • Unless you have a really skilled manager such as Arsene Wenger the only way to progress (for a limited time) is to keep changing your manager until doing so coincides with a couple of good results (as may be the case with Sunderland) and then with luck you might begin a run during which your team punches above its weight. Just like Norwich did when Lambert was first appointed.
