Norwich City already have Joseph Yobo - which probably rules out Italian defender Michael Ciani. Could the club go for a midfielder, attacker - or maybe ven both? Here Norwich City fans tell us who they’d like city to sign - or sell - in the last few hours of the transfer window.

If Norwich want to be completely satisfied with their January transfer window, there’s two moves they need to make on Friday.
1. Solve the Wes Hoolahan situation. Clearly Hughton doesn’t see the Irishman in his plans at the moment. It’s apparent to the media and fans that he isn’t happy with his role. Sometime today, the Board need to make a decision. Don’t keep a player around if he’s becoming a distraction. If that means he goes to Villa, so be it. A positive locker room should be paramount for the Canaries, especially seeing as they’re in a dry spell.
2. Hoolahan is a playmaker, but he’s not utilised at the moment. Norwich need someone to take on that role. After the massive spending in the off-season to strengthen the attack, Hughton must realise something needs to change. Fast. Whether it be Holtby or not, the manager needs to find an attacking mid he’s willing to rely on (other than Fer). Then again, there’s always another player who can do that now...

I’m not asking for much on transfer deadline day – just a world class defender and creative midfielder.
Today is the day that will decide Norwich City’s Premier league future. If we fail to strengthen a woefully prosaic squad, I suspect we’ll be relegated – or at least close to the trapdoor.
We are leaderless at centre-back, with Bassong not living up to early promise, so I want to see a fist-pumping, none-shall-pass defender with top flight battle scars – and preferably a Terry Butcher-style, blood-soaked headband.
And, with Jonny Howson a permanent fixture on the treatment table and the wonderful Wes Hoolahan in exile, we desperately need a midfielder who can create chances for two expensive strikers who have a proven pedigree at Champions League level.
They will score if they get chances. So let’s make Andrea Pirlo an offer he can’t refuse.
Norwich must not be left behind by other Clubs in the bottom half of the table in strengthening the squad. It is a question of are they going to do a short term fix until the end of the season or look to the future.
The signing of Joseph Yobo at his age is a some term fix. Not letting Wes Hoolahan joining Aston Villa is not assisting a club in a similar position as Norwich.
With Johnny Howson not fit to return yet we need an attacking midfield player and obviously Holtby fits the bill and is young and if we signed him permanently we would signal we are still building for a future in the Premiership.
As an outside option why not Kyle Naughton, a young full back, knows the club and has speed down the right flank.
Steve Downes talks the same language as me. Norwich want a centre half in the same mould as Duncan Forbes. Why do we wait until deadline day before we start looking for players when all the good ones have all been snapped up we should have gone for Huddlestone and Livermore at the start of season and Holtby-Fabiola-Zaha have all got new clubs. Our Van Wolfswinkle will never be a Premier striker.
