  • Surely not - Shirley might be a girl! What will OllyG and Bórat think of me? Am I the only victim of Archie`s aberrant web site\server or whatever it is that intrudes on conversation? John Mortimer, creator of `Rumpole of the Bailey` refused even to use a typewriter as it got between his ideas and the expression thereof. You modernists just don`t realise how alien I find all this electronic `IT\social media\website` guff. It`s the root cause of faux journos like Divot and general inarticulacy. OK, BLAFFEN? OK, BLAFFEN?

  • Well said Shirley (I think - as long as you`re not a covert Ipswich WUM!). There are nasty shades of upmarket Roederism in Hughton`s `management`. Players that blossomed under Lambert have stalled under Hughton. Expensive purchases have failed to deliver. Loan signings: one fair, one bad, one sicknote. Favouritism. No interpersonal skills. Negative. Vindictive treatment of non-favourites. A lot of Roederism in there....

  • I really was hoping to be proved wrong, but it seems, as results have proved head to head with Villa, Norwich City have a less able management team. Lambo and Culverhouse v Houghton and Calderwood equals no contest. The fans can see it Mr McNally. can you ???

  • It can hardly be described as Paul Lambert's sweet revenge on Norwich City - it is simply that he is a far better manager with a far better management team than we currently have at Norwich. Shame McNally didn't give Lambert the open cheque book he's given Hughton. We'd likely still have PL as manager.
