Btw, what`s the header pic got to do with the subject matter? "Transfer Deadline Day"..... 2 of those 3 players are yet to be seen in competitive action this season.

EDP will catch up soon, kevin. Can we still loan out the youngest of our 4 (FOUR) keepers under the rules? Will Whittaker be back before Francomb`s loan spell to a LEAGUE TWO side expires? Will Vaughan be Huddersfield`s top scorer? Will we get a fee for C Martin before his contract expires and he "comes of age" (24)? Or are we feeling generous again. Did Hoots make it on to Steve Kean`s Xmas card list for that valuable assist in Blackburn`s capture of Rhodes? Watch the next exiting (sic) episode; same Batty time, same Batty channel. :-(

Is he any better right now that Vaughan though? With all the "dross" that gets reported i would have thought this breaking news deserved its own featured report!

So, Mr Kane joins us at the late hour. Not a last minute panic 'buy' - we haven't 'bought' him. An essential difference, otherwise I think it comes damn close. Should he prove to be a boy wonder, I for one will gladly eat my unenthusiastic words. On the plus side, we have got our secret weapon - four keepers, vital for the smaller club with limited finances.

Welcome, Canary Citizen Kane. Had hoped for a big name signing, but by 10.59pm, I'd was happy with anyone. Reportedly, this lad is a star in the making. Trouble is we need someone who can walk into the first team and score goals now. Hard to get excited given the other names that were supposedly in the frame.

A talented Walthamstow-born forward, Kane has had successful loan spells with Leyton Orient and Millwall over the past two seasons, and made his Spurs debut in a UEFA Europa League play-off game against Hearts in August, 2011. The 19-year-old won many admirers during his loan with Orient, finding the net five times in 18 appearances during the second half of the 2010-11 campaign. He then continued to flourish for Millwall last season, joining the Lions in January 2012 and scoring a further 10 times in 27 games as he struck up a fruitful partnership with Andy Keogh, helping to secure the side’s Championship status and winning the club’s Young Player of the Year award in the process. Kane rose to prominence in the 2009-10 season, firing in 18 goals in just 22 games for Tottenham’s Under-18s, and subsequently went on to represent England at both Under-17 and 19 levels. He was a key part of England’s march to the UEFA U19 European Championship semi-finals in the summer, and netted the winning goal in a crucial 2-1 victory over France to ensure his side advanced from the group stages.

For those of you who don't know, we have signed a striker on a season long loan. Harry Kane. Young lad, 19, from Tottenham. Hopefully he's a beneficial addition, I'm sure he will be! If you type in Millwall v Blackpool Harry Kane goal you will be able to see him scoring on a well known video hosting site.

Oh dear that's us buggered now I think the board has made a bad situation ever worse If losing Lambo wasn't bad enough not giving the new manager finances to compete with the pl It's a shambles judging by our 1st 3 games we are now in free fall totally unbalanced and negative tactics We are going to get a fulham every week

Following this via a wet and windy Belgium GP location. I'm optimistic - new striker and sunshine tomorrow. OTBC.

I thought the choice was either spend money and sty up or look after your finances and get relegated. Looks like Hughton has spent a fortune on an unbalanced team and will be relegated before Easter. Not content with not buying a striker, he gives the best one away and make a stupid purchase from a rival for the best striker going enabling them to complete the deal. Not all plonkers are called Rodney.
