Thetford Town have the opportunity to further ease any relegation worries today, and build on their 3-2 derby clash success at Diss Town last weekend.

The win ended a run of 13 matches without the taste of victory for the Brecklanders and Thetford return to Mundford Road this afternoon with an opportunity to start climbing back up the Thurlow Nunn Premier table.

Mark Scott’s side host the side who are just one place and one point above them in the table, Clacton Town.

Diss aim to bounce back from their defeat when they travel south of the border to take on eighth-placed Felixstowe & Walton United.

Gorleston were involved in a 12-goal thriller last weekend, winning 7-5 at Newmarket Town, and goals could be on the agenda again today when they travel to lowly Wivenhoe Town.

Goals could also be the focus for Norwich United, who go in search of their fourth successive win when they travel to Suffolk to take on bottom-of-the-table Woodbridge Town.

Woodbridge have won only one of their 20 matches so far this season and conceded 85 goals in the process.

In the First Division, Fakenham could move up to second if they beat mid-table AFC Sudbury Reserves at home and Swaffham Town will aim to stay hot on their heels when they host Braintree Reserves.
