Terry leads Hunstanton to top of Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League

Following their second win of the season, Hunstanton are the new leaders of Division Two of the Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League.

Winning on all four rinks, they won at home to Norfolk BC B by 95 shots to 57, with the rink skipped by Terry Walters top scoring 30-14.

Acle B won their first game of the new season with a 66-51 win at home to County Arts B, their rink skipped by Mike Groome winning 28-9.

County Arts C top Division Four and remain the only unbeaten team in the division, after they won 80-71 at home to Gallow B, Ray Fox’s rink winning 25-12. Pentney B slipped to second place after they lost 87-77 at Wymondham B, the home rink skipped by Jim Webb winning 24-12. Browston B won 96-72 at home to Dereham B, Colin Deverill’s rink top scoring 28-8, and Norfolk BC ‘C’ won 88-75 at home to Diss B (Alan Goldsmith 39-11).

The only game in Division Five saw Roundwood ‘B’ win 89-62¼ at home to Shotford ‘B’.
