Swaffham Golf Club’s new captain Gordon Halewood has held his drive-in event at the club.

The drive-in was preceded by a fun Texas Scramble Competition that produced some outstanding scores on a beautiful on Easter Monday morning.

The use of a VW Golf Cabriolet for a weekend was a prize provided by King’s Lynn VW for nearest the pin on 16th and Ian Thexton was the winner.

A total of £300 was raised on the day and will go to the captain’s charity, Bridge for Heroes.
