The 18-year-old is an England youth colleague of City winger Josh Murphy, having been capped at under-18 and under-19 level.

The youngster, who can play as a midfielder or a defender, was named the League One Apprentice of the Year at the Football League Awards in March but the Daily Mirror claim he will leave MK Dons this summer.

Galloway became the Dons youngest ever player when he made his debut for the League One club in an FA Cup first round match at the age of just 15 in 2011.

However chances have been limited for Galloway since making his debut for the Milton Keynes side, playing 13 games last season, starting just three times and scoring once.

The Daily Mail are claiming the Zimbabwe-born player is valued at £4million by MK Dons, but the Mirror say Galloway is quitting the Dons this summer and compensation will have to be agreed with the Dons.

  • OMFG. Let`s sign Magna Carter. Any signing is good. More is better. No need to grow up; every day is Christmas, kiddies. Bring back Monty Python. Great manager. But he was not the Messiah - just a naughty boy. I so envy you happy little people! Even when they are huge, as Matt admits to being. At least, on this basis, Winkel might be worth something?

  • If he's played with the Murph's hopefully they'd have put in a good word... Champ ain't a bad place to start your career proper...

  • Couldnt even post a 1 sentence response on this one. All I said was im in favour of signing any young up and coming talent. Good business plan full of positives as even if we sell on in the future it will hopefully be for a good fee! Cant see us beating EFC to him though?

  • Im all for snatching up and coming talent. Can only see positives even if we end up selling for a decent fee in future. Hard to beat Everton to him though surely?
