The defeat to Luton has confirmed the squad is not good enough. Had City drawn thanks to a late penalty or won 1-0 because of a "did it cross the line?" goal, would there have been the urgency to make the changes to the squad necessary for City to avoid a relegation battle next season, assuming things do not pick from now on.
