The papers over here in Portugal suggest that SpL want 14 million euros for Rip van Winkle....£12M in old money.....trouble is that the state of the pound against the euro has driven that up to nearly £13M. That is a massive bid for a club like ours....but maybe fortune favours the bold. Say we get another Morison for £3M, or another van Persie for £12M......which is the better business???? One thing is for sure, if we dont get a decent signing in the next 2 days, and the downward spiral continues, Norwich will see Blackburn style "Hughton out" banners as we sink deeper into the mire
