And what a superb name! A real challenge for the chant composers & headline\cliché writers. Prolix Paddy will be thumbing his thesaurus in anticipation. Seriously though, is this all happening a bit late? Also, there seems to be a scatter-gun approach in play. A telling comment "not in such a good position in the League" - was that a reference to Newcastle or Norwich? If there is any truth in this, presumably City thinks £8million for RvW is OK, but £6 million for Hooper is OTT. RvW has a nice ring to it - a bit like that other Dutch chap at ManU. Name escapes me; scores a few. OTBC.
