I think steady on is purely making the point that each time a transfer rumour is aired, some fans seem to take it as gospel and use it as a stick to beat up CH or DM. Its all just media doing their job - filling up pagesairwavesweb pages. I'll worry about the next signing when I see them sitting in the press room at CR.
