Michael Bailey reports from Carrow Road as Norwich City slip to a gallant yet ultimately pointless defeat at home to Premier League title-chasing Liverpool, leaving them slipping closing to top-flight relegation.

Goals from Raheem Sterling and Luis Suarez in the opening 11 minutes paved the way to victory for the Reds, with Sterling’s second goal after the break proving enough to relegate strikes from Gary Hooper and Robert Snodgrass mere consolations.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and City boss Neil Adams also give their verdicts on the result.
