Mark Bunn made some decent saves and his handling was pretty sound under pressure.

It may seem an odd choice to pick the Norwich City goalkeeper after he has been beaten five times, but with the exception of one goal, there was not much he could have done about any of them.
Given the emphatic scoreline, City’s keeper was one of the better performers. Which says it all.
Bunn made decent, though not spectacular saves from Sturridge, Suarez, Henderson and Gerrard, and his handling was pretty sound under pressure.
And, frankly, who else was there?

You are joking EDP!! And you must be sharky. Other posters are right. Of course the guy is not totally useless, but he is not a premiership goalkeeper. Rudd deserves a chance.

"Other" seems to have just beaten the sheep candidate. Other sycophantic twaddle I`ve heard recently was a BBC commentator (forgotten match) complimenting Battenberg`s every action - like walking on the pitch without falling over, locating his mouth with his whistle etc. Apologists everywhere - for the chosen ones.

It says a lot about the journos` sycophantic relationship with the Carra Cremlin.

The fact that the keeper gets MOTM after a 5-0 defeat says it all really !

What is more frustrating is at least 2 of them would have been saved by Ruddy purely on being taller, before we even talk about crosses and commands...

Total exageration. Gerrard, Henderson, Aguero. Why were they Bunns fault. That leaves two. Both from crosses when others had made mistakes. Get real OTBC

Did you watch the match? he was terrible! doesnt command his area at all and his found wanting at this level! hence why we are bringing Camp in for competition with Ruddy. With a result like this matched only by a performance like this, why give a man of the match!

He flapped at crosses for two of the goals and missed them and must have given the defence the jitters. Were all the other players that bad? Perhaps this competition should be renamed as least incompetent idiot on the pitch today.
