Robert Snodgrass knows there will be no easy games left as Norwich City try to make sure of another Premier League season.

Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass is convinced the Canaries will not shirk the battles ahead as they bid to seal Premier League safety.
Chris Hughton’s men travel to Sunderland this weekend before another test on the road at struggling Wigan following the international break. With the Latics’ relegation rivals Reading and Aston Villa also visiting Carrow Road during the run-in Snodgrass knows City are in for some ferocious encounters.
“Every game is a battle. You don’t go out there in the Premier League and get an easy game – never. I’ve not had it since I arrived here and from the feedback from the other players, they’ve not had it either,” he said. “You need to bite and scratch, do everything you possibly can as an individual to try to do better than your opponent.
“That’s what it takes for 11 men on the park – to roll your sleeves up and battle. It’s dogged down at the bottom of the league.
“Everyone is fighting for points – you see QPR have just picked up and it opens things up again and they might think they’ve got a chance of staying up.
“Everybody’s trying to avoid relegation. People can speak about second season syndrome but we’ve beaten Manchester United and Arsenal and we’re not saying it isn’t tough. It doesn’t get any easier as the games go on, especially when you’re looking over your shoulder to see who’s catching you.”
Snodgrass draws plenty of confidence from the type of characters inside the Canaries’ dressing room to suggest Norwich can fight fire with fire over a tense Premier League finale.
“I’ve seen why certain individuals have stayed here and they’ve got back-to-back promotions because of the great desire among the boys,” he said. “I’m quite happy to be part of that.
“There are certain games where people would have thought Norwich are going to lose or not get anything and we’ve got the vital points. That’s why I always speak about the word belief because you need to have it in abundance. I believe in my team-mates and I believe in me. When you’ve got that, it’s a good thing to have because you know the guy beside you is going to go the extra five or 10 yards to try to help you.
“There are no big egos. We have Sébastien Bassong and Michael Turner, who have played in the Premier League at a high level, and they’re great lads, great to have about the place. There is nobody bigger than anybody else and I don’t think Norwich can be built that way, really, with anybody bigger than the club.
“It wouldn’t work. We’ve got honest, hard-working lads who will put their body on the line and that’s why we’ve got so many good results this season.”

It seems we have had this board to ourselves today.. Brew if you have a problem with that 'mywebsearch', I can only suggest that you type that into your Yahoo engine and click on 'search' The page that comes up on your screen will or may offer you some thing that says 'remove my websearch'. It shoud offer you advice on how to proceed. Take it one step at a time, pen and paper may come in handy. Failing that , you could always try Yellow pages for professional advice. ...Lobbo, I am picking up First Cape Shiraz at Tesco costing me £4.35 per bottle (x3 weekly)when on half price offer. I also enjoy the Merlot. What can you direct me towards at that price giving me similar enjoyment? I also enjoy a Famous Grouse Chaser....I do NOT drink and drive

Stew you must be under the influence of that South African Shiraz. Don't let the wasters win. Remember why we post. After going to a game of footie you'll see thousands of fans, from both sides discussing the whys and wherefores. Some are happy with what they've seen and even then will often have their six penneth on how their team could have scored more or who made the mistake that let one in. The point is that we all have opinions on how to improve things and God knows Norwich need to improve. Even if we won 10 - 0 there would still someone who could have played better. It's good to discuss, with like minded people, the ups and downs of a game. I can only think that individuals who criticise other posters have got no life, their only enjoyment coming from hurting and winding people up. I suggest we leave the personal rubbish out and just enjoy the post .. pre match banter. For those who don't realise, it's what football is all about. So Stew, less Shiraz and more footie.

Oldtimer, I agree with you the CH should go out to win games rather not o lose them, but I feel he is now in position where games are running out and if it goes pear shaped not many games to recover - but i do not for one minute think we should do a Reading! On the matter of attending, watching on Sky or broadband and right to comment - I watch here at equivalent to local cafe with a few ales and something to eat so I pay for the TV that way and hence the "Sky" equivalent pays into PL coffers. I am also a season ticket holder, one game so far this season the match against the Gunners. The belaboured point I am making is that we are all entitled to our opinion no matter how or if we contribute but at times some of the bickering does get a tad tiresome. OTBC

Johnny Gavin Lives! ......It is with sadness that you no longer get the Buzz that we all used to enjoy talking about Norwich City, long before Chris Hughton arrived on the scene. Contributions that many regulars made on a light hearted basis were spoiled when a certain individual, hiding under many guises began to hurl insults at everyone that commented. I tried hard to take the pressure off others by giving as good as I got. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to talk Football with like minded people. Alas! this comment will only attract another outburst of abuse as you will see. During the past few weeks I have offered advice regading computer operations, how to watch Football on line, and given a wide insight into my football watching life..All this has been met with personal abuse, and I could not let it pass unchallenged. But for the benefit of all, I will make an exit from these pages (undefeated). and refrain from making further comments of any kind in the hope that peace will return. Please ! You don't have to attend games to be a supporter, ask dubaicanary or the many fans around the world.Or better still ask all the Man. U fans who have never seen Old Trafford. My point is and will remain to be, that I am a true Canary supporter, always have been, always will be, and nothing would please me more than for Hughton to prove me wrong, but I still believe he needs to man up and try to win games not to go out not to lose them. And he needs someone in the Culverhouse mould NOT the Muppet we have there now.

There seem to be a lot of posters who are only here to wind us and each other up, and when one gets two of them hurling clever clever insults at each other, as often happens with Stew and SOn, it gets really really boring. Hello Doc ! I'll try and clear the air. I too am of the opinion that Snodgrass is good at football, not Huckerby standard, but good. He has just been selected for Scotland, and will no doubt play well for them. It will be interesting to see how and where Strachen deploys him. My lengthy post, as you describe it, was not prompted by him, I only included his name at the very end of my thoughts. It just seemed that some of the other boards were getting over subscribed, and would soon disappear. Therefore I got in early on this one....As far as Sky subscriptions are concerned , I dont think I said anything like that that. My own position is thus :- I subscribe to All Sky Sports Channels, and where possible watch football on there. I subscribe to Broadband and can download Football on there . No doubt all Premier League clubs get a rake off from whoever is televising their game and selling it on to others. You may be aware that it is possible to log on to Tesco, Sainsbury, get their prices, and do your shopping at Asda. Yes Doc , I think you mis-read the situation. Hope that has clarified things. My query re Sky subscription was because you were indicating that people who watched very match at home were paying Sky who paid Norwich thus you being exempt from the accustion of being somene who likes to moan without ever making any monetary contribution to the club. It's my experience that many people who watch every match at home do by internet link where there is no contribution whatsoever. Am I being unfair?

....I've spent many sleepless nights recently trying to unravel the reason for the bad patch Norwich City are going through. By a series of eliminations, I may have arrived at the answer.....It CANNOT be any fault of Chrissy our charming manager, with his upbeat style of play - STEADY ON says so!.... It CANNOT be the fault of his coaching staff - STEADY ON says so!....It CANNOT be the fault of the players, 7 of them internationals, who are playing well enough to be included in their countries squads for next weekend, or the club captain, or our in form goalkeeper....STEADY ON says so! - S'Odgrass deserves promotion from no7 to no11 It is NOT the fault of the 20,000+ ticket holders that have turned up in all weathers for the 15 league games and odd cup game. They have either sang with gusto, remained silent of taken the opportunity to shout obscenities in public, or the 1000s that travel to all corners of the land - STEADY ON says so!.......NO! NONE of these. I have reached the conclusion that the fault for this bad patch lies with the Armchair followers, those that never go to Carrow Road - STEADY ON says so!.... Can I therefore plead with all you people around the world, NOT to watch the match at Sunderland this Sunday, whether dis-abled or fully fit, near or far away..Switch off you TV, your internet connection, and for the hard of hearing, Radio Goreham, and wait for Archant's journo's to bring you up to date with the news copied from the Nationals or The Sunderland Echo. This can only improve the result as STEADY ON would say, and if successful could start a new trend, soon to be copied by other clubs....But WE can say we got in there first!...Remember! Brighter Days are just around the corner...STEADY ON says so!..... mind you the weather forecast is not too sharp for the weekend!.....Steady on will probably find some choice words for the forecaster!.... So come on STEADY ON, I've done my bit..... What do YOU under your various guises have to offer ????

I wonder if KK can do a job in Pilk`s place while he`s injured? Man from the Prairie once said that Kei did operate in that spot in the MSL. Snods & Bass must be running each other close for POTS. BJ not far behind.

"I believe in my team-mates and I believe in me." I really like Snods - but playing right wing - I wish he had more belief in his right peg. Like many, I think I would like to see him try to get service in from the left. Now that i said that, I hope he puts egg on my face and cuts inside for a goal this week. However, I think Bennett(who steps in for Pilks) will flourish more on the right. He has really good service from that side. Holt, Beccs, and Kamara all are attacking treats in the air - let's take advantage of that - or, at least, use that threat as an advantage in opening up the other team's defense for cutbacks, fine passes, and cheeky plays, etc.. OTBC!
