Norwich City are reported to have made a bid for Swansea City's Danny Graham.

Sky Sports are reporting that Norwich City have made a bid in the region of £5m for Swansea City striker Danny Graham.
Graham scored 12 goals in the Premier League last season and has found the net seven times in all competitons in the current campaign.
The 27-year-old - who has scored six goals against the Canaries in four games before this season - has found himself out of favour at the Liberty Stadium recently due to the form of Michu.
Sunderland were earlier reported to have made a similar bid for the Gateshead-born striker.

Totally agree with you guys, nothing wrong with switching wingers during games to mix it up a bit. But i believe our Maker made us right or left footed for a reason. Be a shame not to use it. I am amazed that we have never even seen Snoddy switch to the left even for a spell during the game. Newcastle totally blocked him out of the game and stopped him cutting in.

Spot on Pa. Being constructively critical is not subversive. What a sinister choice of word. I sometimes wonder whether peoples` love of NCFC stifles their collective synapse.

Thanks Brewer for seeing beyond the touchline any offering a supportive view also.... We, unlike some believe that our team could achieve much more with the current players, without further reinforcements!... For those who want changes, I hope they are prepared to say who they think is not pulling his weight!

Billy Boy, you really are a silly boy!..... It won't matter if Suarez or Van Persie were signed , without the support of wingers they would do no better. ...Wingers ? What Wingers?..City do not have one in their present set up!

Especially for you Headless Chicken..No I am definitely NOT that Steroo bloke, in any shape or form.....Subvertion?..No Way!.. Believe me, I have no desire to destroy or overthrow. ..I just try to give a view of the tactics currently employed, and point out where they are going wrong-and they are going wrong!.. I played enough football to know that more is produced if left footed players play on the left side of the pitch..... I am not talking Free Kicks and Corners, but getting down that wing and crossing to the penalty spot. There are less crosses coming in now than when Drury was overlapping, ably supported by Tierney. I am not criticising Snodgrass, but sooner or later Mr Hughton will have to change things!

Oh no! How many more heads does the hermaphrodite Hydra need, Headless? I`ve been accused of being "Ged" as well. It has to be an Archant plant; there are similar specimens on the Green `Un boards. I doubt Pa Snipps is another manifestation and I do not see how his constructive criticism warrants the tag "Subversive". Do you want a totalitarian message board?? Such an Orwellian scenario would fit more comfortably in 1p5wich. OTBC.

I think we can all agree that Pa Snipps and Steady On have provided useless and ill-informed contributions and let's ignore them. As for Graham, fantastic player that moves well off the ball and has a bit of everything, and a great goalscoring record of the 2010-2011 season as the top scorer in the championship and another great 2011-2012 season in the premiership with Swansea. Given the ability of our wingers it'd be a great move, I also think with the extra pace Graham will have over Holt he may combine and attack incisively with Hoolahan.

I think the key to being able to play 2 strikers lies in the nature of our midfield players and the formation that suits them; ie the "twin destroyers" of Johnno & Tettey. As samjstewart says, a centre midfielder who can conrol the game would be good. Perhaps Tettey will develop into such a player? Then perhaps we could have Pa`s dream of 2 players truly operating as wingers (but defend when needed). Nobody could fault Snods` commitment or workrate, but I`d like to see what he might achieve from the left wing. All will be revealed.......

Contrary to what appears to be the general view, I personally find Ged's comments quite amusing. He's far more readable (and often makes more sense) than either (a) those who take the bait and attempt a serious or abusive response, or (b) the self appointed "serious" commentators. Pa Snips, you are a bit of an enigma to me. As I've said before, great name - but quite subversive comments. Are you Ged in disguise, attempting a more subtle approach?

Surely the key issue is whether Graham has a scoring record as a lone striker - because that's what he'll be faced with being... And I don't know what that track record looks like.

Another Day, Another Dollar! Mr Houghton really has to look at his striking team. Let me try to be constructive. Put your self in Snodgrass boots, you have just picked up the ball 10 yards from the corner of the penalty area, you can't go down the right, because it would mean a right foot cross, not something I do well. So do as the manager tells you and cut inside and try a left foot shot on goal. Problem! There is a goalkeeper and 4 defenders blocking your path. Holt and Pilkington are in there too . That's 8 bodies between you and goal. You haven't a snowballs chance in hell of getting a shot anywhere near goal. But you let rip, and an easy clearance is made. Got to go now, other matters pressing, but I will return

As for losing Jackson or Morrison, neither of them have shown that they can hold down a place in the premiership but would probably be of interest to teams in lower divisions. Now is an ideal time to prune the squad of dead wood and bring in some new blood to fill our obvious need for a striker of some substance.

It is difficult to understand why Norwich have publicised their bid for Graham when they pride themselves on being tight lipped until a deal is finalised. They have made public their interest in players in years gone by when they have no chance of achieving a successful outcome - because of interest from other clubs, excessive transfer fee or players demands - just to appease the fans who yearn for some transfer activity. Is this happening again!

Saints paid £7m for a bloke called rodriguez from Burnley, so £5m for a striker who has prem experience, and a reasonable goalsgames record is no bad deal. Did Sunderlands confirmation of their bid force our hand ? . Swansea have had their bid for Kenwynne Jones knocked back. Will this stop the deals.[Could we offer Morrison to Stoke to grease the wheels] ? and I agree with Pa we need to get the crosses in, with a bit of accuracy and it would help to have the correct footed players on the wings so they can go outside and get a cross in rather than cut inside all the time . I personally feel there are 3 areas we are lacking in. 1) the obvious which is another striker 2) Pace in our team 3) a centre mid who can control the game, with tettey and jonno we have two great ball winning midfielders but between the two they cannot pass or control a game like fox can. With a player who can control a game like fox and win the ball like tettey we would see a lot more attacking territory

Certainly worth a punt. 5 million might be on the high side but he's a vast improvement on Morison and can swapped with Holt without changing formation. Considering his limited time on the pitch he has done well and works hard for the team. Sometimes you have to pay extra to get what you want. It's better than wasting money on a might be. Better than risking a fortune of the clubs money like Harry appears to be doing that's for sure. Don't worry Gedward, CH is not going to be wasting any of your season ticket money on any players. I doubt any other manager will be either??

Might only be three goals Jed but he has had very limited opportunity with Michu first choice. Don't underestimate him, he was the best player to come to Carrow Road all season in our promotion year (with Watford). Exactly the player we need. A younger more mobile version of Grant Holt.

3 league goals all season!!? Hardly the prolific goalscorer that we need to drag us out of this relegation battle. I get the impression that Whooton is preparing us for the Championship already. It really isn't good enough. You'd thing that with the ridiculous season ticket increase that we'd actually be able to afford a player that could score more than 3 goals! I'll be having words.
