Norwich City has moved to soften the blow of expensive match tickets for an upcoming match against Manchester United, by offering free coach travel to its supporters.
As reported, the Premier League champions have set adult tickets at £46 for City’s visit to Old Trafford on Tuesday, October 29 (7.45pm kick-off).
The price had sparked outrage from Canaries fans about such a high price for a Capital One Cup fourth round match, a competition which often sees Premier League sides play weakened teams.
Now City have offered a helping hand to supporters by offering free Club Canary travel to the match, which is normally worth around £25.
Supporters who had already paid for Club Canary travel are being offered refunds from the club’s shops at Carrow Road, the Castle Mall and Chapelfield Shopping Centre.
The club is also offering a £10 discount on ticket prices for the November 2 trip to Manchester City, which will reduce an adult ticket to £24.
