Timm Klose is sure post-Arsenal history will not repeat itself for Norwich City following their latest titanic cup effort against one of the Premier League big boys, this time Chelsea.
It was late October when the Canaries took a nine-game unbeaten run to The Emirates and pushed Arsenal all the way through extra-time in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup – and it took Daniel Farke's side eight games to clock their next victory.
This week it was a five-game unbeaten run ended by FA Cup third replay defeat after extra time and penalties at Chelsea, and City cannot afford a similar collapse in form.
Their immediate challenge is far from easy either, with a disgruntled Sheffield United set to arrive at Carrow Road on Saturday following their acrimonious 1-0 loss to Norwich at Bramall Lane back in September.
'This is football, it's why we play and it's why we love it,' said City's Swiss centre-back. 'We go out again and we fight again. It's now back to the normal business.

'Of course we are a bit disappointed but we can be disappointed for one day and that's it – because the next game is coming and I'm really looking forward to it.
'We saw what happened after the Arsenal game and I don't think that is going to happen this time because the team is getting closer and closer together, and the performances… It's just great to see all the young players really want to go and fight for this club.
'And us old players, we can take them by the hand and give them a direction – but what they do with that direction is up to them.
'It's unbelievable how they work, how they fight. Like Nelson (Oliveira) or (James) Maddison. They're not just creating things. They are working hard for us and then you want to give them something back by defending well.'

Norwich will still have a few tired bodies to patch up for the weekend, although Klose doesn't expect a knock to his knee to cause him any lasting issues.
'It's all right,' said Klose. 'I was a bit scared at the first moment because I blocked a shot by Bakayoko, and I twisted it a little bit. So when you have an injury like this before on your knee, you hope it's not that bad. But the first shock went away and then it was no problem.'
One thing that will be similar to October is the following Championship fixture at Carrow Road, and the need for the home support to back their side in the aftermath of such noble effort and bravery. 'Of course our fans are unbelievable,' added Klose. 'You saw it here that they were there and celebrating with us, even though we lost the game.
'But that's what is giving us a push for the weekend and that's how it should be all the time – because we know we have good fans and we know they are behind us whatever is going to happen.'
