What the pundits predict:

Ian Clarke - City fan and columnist

(City’s score first)

Feb 23 Spurs (H) W 2-1

Mar 2 Aston Villa (A) L 1-3

Mar 8 Stoke (H) W 1-0

Mar 15 Southampton (A) L 0-1

Mar 22 Sunderland (H) W 1-0

Mar 29 Swansea (A) L 0-1

Apr 5 West Brom (H) W 1-0

Apr 12 Fulham (A) L 0-1

Apr 19 Liverpool (H) L 1-3

Apr 26 Man Utd (A) L 0-2

May 3 Chelsea (A) L 0-3

May 11 Arsenal (H) D 1-1

Points picked up: 13

City’s final tally: 38 - SAFE

Will City survive, how and why? Ian says: A squeaky-bum-time is certain for City, who will fly mighty close to the Premier League exit. Relegation will be avoided – just – and it will go right down to the wire. By the time they visit Carrow Road, Arsenal’s minds will be on the beach – and City will get their point to go clear of the trap door.

(City’s score first)

Feb 23 Spurs (H) L 1-3

Mar 2 Aston Villa (A) L 1-2

Mar 8 Stoke (H) W 2-0

Mar 15 Southampton (A) L 1-2

Mar 22 Sunderland (H) W 2-0

Mar 29 Swansea (A) D 1-1

Apr 5 West Brom (H) W 2-0

Apr 12 Fulham (A) W 2-1

Apr 19 Liverpool (H) L 0-4

Apr 26 Man Utd (A) L 0-2

May 3 Chelsea (A) L 0-2

May 11 Arsenal (H) L 1-2

Points picked up: 13

City’s final tally: 38 - SAFE

Will City survive, how and why? Pete says: Hughton’s men will break the Craven Cottage hoodoo to win their fourth game out of the remaining 12 which – with a point at Swansea – should be enough. Anything less than nine points at home to Stoke, Sunderland and West Brom could be disastrous.
