Another shift with no outstanding candidates.

Bradley Johnson and Alex Tettey came more into the game with the waning influence of Peter Crouch and Johnson got his reward with the opener.

Wes Hoolahan was a creative focal point until withdrawn, with both wide players also a sporadic influence but Joseph Yobo underlined again the value of experience at centre back.

  • Olsson would get my vote as he was more than once left with two andat one stage three Stoke players to deal with as both centre backs had gone walkabout, but still he came out with the ball or cleared it into touch.

  • Bradley for me. He always turns up, and is probably the only player to buck the trend under Hugh Trollderwood - he has actually improved.

  • PD were you actually at the game. Looks like you are out voted anyway. TK yes Olsson did well considering he was in alot of pain.

  • Bradley Johnson. All others would get 610, he'd get 7 based on what I watched.

  • Oh, dear! Two non-Hughton signings topping the poll. That`ll make teacher a bit more spiteful.

  • I have to admit that Wes also had an excellent game and like most supporters I was baffled as to why he was taken off. No doubt we wanted to ensure that we did not score a second goal.
