Saturday saw the Canaries defeated by an injury-time prod from Billy Sharp at Sheffield United, to leave City winless in the Championship after three games.

And with Timm Klose heavily linked with a move to Hannover before the summer transfer window officially closes at the end of the month, it’s an interesting remainder to August that lies in store.

The action on the pitches promises a lot too, with City welcoming Alex Neil back to Carrow Road on Wednesday night as Preston visit (7.45pm), before in-form Leeds and Marcelo Bielsa arrive on Saturday (3pm).
