But that hasn’t stopped a bit of paper talk in the meantime, as Norwich City get their backroom staff in place and turn attentions to the playing squad.

  • Hi MonkeyNuts. I posted an explanation for your disappearing post this morning. It didn't last long. I posted another one just now. Never saw the light of day. You see, Archie is a bit touchy if you knock his journos and their abuse of English, so I'd better stop there. I've had 73 posts rejected since Christmas. When I get to 75, we'll have a party.

  • Hi Fagen. Still working on Mrs Bowkett but hoping for a pink ticket next Tuesday. Which Tete du Roi. There are hundreds. At the risk of alerting Cecilia to our whereabouts, I'm going to need more.

  • Tete du Roi it is then - probably the street side of the bar. Take 5 to follow and also the bar at the Playhouse perhaps.

  • Fagen:- Not sure what time Take5 opens. Tete du Roi is Noon, I believe. I have also alerted Blaff. If T5 is $h1t, there`s always The Glass House......

  • Good stuff Brew. Tuesday probably better for me and we can kick off in Take 5. Its somewhere I've never been but I will look it up on the net. We can always move on later.

  • I`m up for it, Fagen. Specially since you have this ephemeral period of freedom! Suggest twin venues: Roi`s Tete and Take5. Former has a good ale selection & is old git-friendly. The latter has a fantastic art gallery and a couple of drinkable beers (usually). To MonkeyNuts - keep trying. Archie does that to all of us (except 1p5wich Trolls). Tue or Thur good for me. I hope Crabster and The Illustrated One are alert here!

  • Barking ,Brew et al - are you interested in a get together next week ,Tues ,Wed or Thurs. ? Venue to be agreed. My wife has to work away for a few days and its a chance for me to make hay whilst the sun shines.

  • We need to keep John Ruddy, I don't think he wants to go and he certainly isn't gonna go to someone to be a bench warmer...(Palace apparently offered £5 million...HOW derisory is that? He's worth double that without a shadow!!!)...It's vital to keep him!!!
