Young Norwich City winger Jacob Murphy has been linked with a loan move to Swindon Town.

The loan window re-opens on Saturday, following the closure of the January transfer window at midnight last Friday.

Murphy, twin brother of Josh, made his first senior appearance for the Canaries in the 1-1 FA Cup third round draw with Fulham at Carrow Road in early January.

The Downham Market twins, 18, were both part of the City Under-18 side which won the FA Youth Cup last season and are both on professional deals with the club.

Jacob is now being linked with a loan spell in League One with Swindon, who are currently eighth in the table and five points off the play-off places.

The England Under-19 international has had to watch his brother move ahead of him in the pecking order at Carrow Road this season, but both are young and rated very highly by the club’s coaches.
