Norwich City defender Martin Olsson has been reported to the Football Association for an apparent push on referee Simon Hooper.

The 26-year-old placed a hand on the official following his 60th-minute sending off in the 1-0 loss at Wolves.

The FA will now assess the incident before deciding whether to charge the Sweden international with misconduct. Olsson received a second booking for a tug on Rajiv van La Parra, with Wolves scoring the winner moments later. He is already suspended for Saturday’s Championship visit of Watford, but could face a lengthier ban following Hooper’s decision to report the full-back to the FA.

The FA are expected to conclude their investigations within 24 to 48 hours.
